Oct 6 - 9   Pelican Festival
Grove   Wolf Creek Park
This annual event celebrates the fall migration of the
 American White Pelicans that return to the waters of
 northeast Oklahoma’s beautiful Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees.
 Activities at this year’s Pelican Festival will include
 Miss Pelican Festival, a parade, a car show and arts
 and crafts plus food vendors.

Celebrate the season at Vinita’s 35th annual
Oktoberfest. Pay tribute to the fall season and German
 culture with dancing, cake walks and authentic German food at
this seasonal event. Find
something tasty at the church bake sale or place
a bid on one of the unique baskets at the
 Spectacular Silent Auction. The festival will also have several
 craft vendors set up, so stop by their booths
and browse the variety of handmade wares for sale.
When you’re ready to relax, head to the Entertainment
Tent and enjoy live music featuring the Blaskapelle Band from
Tulsa and the German American Society Dancers.
Bring the kids along for the festival’s
 many child-friendly activities. The Kids’ Tent features
crafts, face painting and balloon art for the little one
s or kids can head outside to participate in pony
 rides and a petting zoo. With so many booths
 and activities, there’s fun for the whole family
 at this vibrant fall festival.

The Craig County Cruisers Car Show in Vinita covers the
historic downtown area in antique and classic vehicles.
While guests browse the eye-catching hot rods on display,
