July 6 Spavinaw's Independence Day Celebration  FIREWORKS AT DARK
Spavinaw is boasting a schedule that lasts all day from 2 pm until dark, 
including a seed-spitting contest, silent- and pie auction, water activities
 for children and adults, vendors, and the annual Fire Department's hamburger 
fundraiser. The parade is at 5 pm. Art in the Park, where locals will 
get to paint items that will be displayed in Town, goes from 2:00-4:00. 
The water slide will be open all day and the auctions end at 7:00. .

June 26    Movies in the Park   Langley, OK

This weeks movie will be "Leave No Trace". Movies are located at the Village Park in the south baseball field and begin once it is dark outside. The community is encouraged to set up their lawn chairs and blankets an hour or so before the movie begins. Concessions are available and served by the Youth from the First Christian Church of Langley. This is a fundraiser for them so come out and support these kids.

The Picture in Scripture Amphitheater in Disney is a 1,000 seat outdoor amphitheater nestled  in the hills surrounding Grand Lake. Each summer an original Biblical production is presented with live actors arrayed in  colorful costumes, spectacular special effects, state of the art sound, pyrotechnics and live exotic animals. Although the summer days in Oklahoma are warm, the cool night breezes are wonderful, so come  and enjoy outdoor theater under the stars
