The Picture in Scripture Amphitheater in Disney is a 1,000 seat outdoor 
amphitheater nestled  in the hills surrounding Grand Lake. 
Each summer an original Biblical production is presented with live actors arrayed in
 colorful costumes, spectacular special effects, state of the art sound, pyrotechnics and live exotic animals. 
Although the summer days in Oklahoma are warm, the cool night breezes are wonderful, so come 
and enjoy outdoor theater under the stars.

The Eastern Shawnee's Shawna Stovall Back to School 
Children's Powwow is a fun and educational event for kids complete with
 inflatables, face painting, snow cones, raffles and plenty of prizes. Kids will 
learn more about Native American culture through storytelling, 
traditional dancing and other engaging activities like flint knapping 
and pony rides. Booths filled with American Indian foods, arts and crafts.

Each month, May through September of this year, Har-Ber Village
 is celebrating its 50th anniversary by highlighting a different
 decade of its 50 years. In August the sights and
 sounds of the 1990s will be brought to life through 
music, documentaries, displays of memorabilia, 
cars, toys, games and more from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Then dance to the sounds of the nineties 
and enjoy a theme-based dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. 
Conclude the evening by watching Forest Gump.
