Coming soon to beautiful Grand Lake is Monkey Island Winery.
“We offer good everyday wine for every Grand day.”

Owned and operated by H. Val Saamer who has over 45 years experience

in the wine business.
Our first grapes were planted at Royal Horse Ranch by Grand Lake Vineyards

in 2004 and 2005, followed by 108 grafted
Cabernet Sauvignon, three miles south of the winery at
Cabernet Bay Development.

Cottages
Three beautiful cottage: Cabernet, Chardonnay, Merlot, have been
built at the home vineyard at Royal Horse Ranch.
Each cottage sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 double beds and 2
twin beds. The cottages are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave,
K cup coffee-maker, electric fireplace,
air-conditioning and a large screen smart television. Direct TV,
wireless hot spot and phone are included at no additional cost.
All cottages are non-smoking.

Our cottages are pet and kid friendly with horse boarding and
trail rides provided at Royal Horse Ranch and Monkey
Island Trail Rides.
