Located in Jay, Ok., the Mariee Wallace Museum

has artifacts and exhibits from across the nation, including toy trains, buggies and wagons.

American Indian and Trail of Tears items are featured along with hundreds of items from early days in Delaware County.

The Delaware County Historical Society
was organized in 1975.The Society is working hard to preserve and study the history and heritage of Delaware County, Oklahoma.  The Society established its first museum at the Delaware County Community Center in 1983.  In 1988, thanks to Mariee Wallace,

the museum was moved to its current location after the renovation of the old lumber company.
